Geneva: Qatar participated in the 62nd session of the Council of Arab Health Ministers in Geneva, held alongside the World Health Assembly. Qatar’s delegation was led by Minister of Public Health HE Mansour bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud.
The meetings focused on key topics, including the state of healthcare in the Palestinian territories, East Jerusalem, and the occupied Syrian Golan. They also addressed the Arab Committee for Health Emergency Preparedness and Response, and discussed the Arab Health Economics Strategy (2025-2030), aimed at promoting health economics approaches to tackle major health priorities in the region.
